      Research Program</h2>
        <h3 class="titre3">Introduction</h3>
        <p><span class="smallcap">NeCS </span> team deals with Networked Control Systems. Since its foundation in 2007, the team has been addressing issues of control under imperfections
and constraints deriving from the network (limited computation resources of the embedded systems, delays and
errors due to communication, limited energy resources), proposing co-design strategies.
The team has recently moved its focus towards general problems on <i>control of network systems</i>, which involve the analysis and control of dynamical systems with a network structure or whose operation is supported by networks. This is a research domain with substantial growth and is now recognized as a priority sector by the IEEE Control Systems Society: IEEE has started a new journal, IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems, whose first issue appeared in 2014.</p>
        <p>More in detail, the research program of <span class="smallcap">NeCS </span> team is along lines described in the following sections.
