The project Meta2 develops computer science systems and mathematical methods dedicated to automatic control : robust control, nonlinear control, stochastic control, discrete event systems, network simulation, optimization and detection. Applications to control of mechanical systems, regulation of water flow, optimization of transportation systems, performance evaluation and optimization of manufacturing systems and finance are studied. Dedicated systems are developped based mainly on a Matlab like system developped in the project called Scilab. Scilab is a free software distributed via anonymous ftp.
