Our aim is to study the mechanical or physical properties of irregular media like porous media. This implies to study the quantitative and qualitative properties of partial differential equation with random parameters. During the last decade, a mathematical theory was developed for this equations. Our goal is to propose applications of this theory in order to obtain practical tools. Our approach will use the the theory of homogenization of the solutions of PDE's whose coefficient are random fields with fast variation.
