This project is studying methods for designing specialized VLSI architectures, emphasizing parallel architectures. These methods are aimed essentially at signal processing (radar, image compression, pattern recognition, etc.) and are formally based on regular architecture synthesis methods, and the derivation of parallel programs by progressively refining the specifications.
