CALLIGRAMME
Project Calligramme was officially created in May 1996. Its research activities are centered around linear logic: its syntax and semantics, the relationship with more traditional constructive formalisms, but above all the study of proof nets and their generalizations like interaction nets. The applications in view are in parallel computing (process calculi, specialized programming languages) and linguistics (syntactical analysis and syntax/semantics coordination by the means of categorial grammars). The year 1996 was spent putting the project on its feet and developing research on the aforementioned subjects.
