Le rôle du projet Caps consiste à concevoir un exécutif, fondé sur Corba, pour une architecture parallèle utilisant SCI (Scalable Coherent Interface ). Il fournira également un générateur de code Fortran, inspiré des travaux autour de Fortran-S.
