Abstract

COMORE : Modelling and control of renewable ressources.

The endeavour of the project is to apply methods from control theory (feedback control, optimal control, game theory) and from the theory of dynamical systems, to the mathematical modelling of living exploited ressources (renewable ressources) and their management.

Research themes

- Dynamics and control of fisheries and aquaculture.

- Modelling and control of phytoplankton growth.

- Modelling and control of bioreactors.

- Modelling of forest dynamics.

- Mathematics of modelling.

- Computer design in biological modelling.

International and industrial relations :

Collaboration with IFREMER (Maerha team, Nantes). Collaboration with the Station Zoologique, Villefranche-sur-Mer, UA CNRS 716. Participation in the "Programme Environnement, Vie et Sociétés" of the CNRS. Collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), university of Wageningen (Holland), university of Lausanne (Switzerland)
