The INRIA-I3S/CNRS-University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis project
works on three main domains:
- parallel and distributed discrete event simulation,
- parallel object-oriented languages,
- communication and mapping in distributed
architectures.
Current developments include :
- PROSIT, a sequential and distributed object-oriented
workbench for discrete event simulation
- STAT-TOOL, a distributed package for the statistical
analysis of the results of simulations
- C++//, a parallel extension to C++
- EIFFEL//, a parallel extension to Eiffel
- enhancements and optimisations of communications in
portable environments for distributed computing (PVM, MPI
)
- new simulation methods based on evolution equations.
