We will focus our efforts on a probabilistic variant of the asynchronous -calculus, which is a formalism designed for mobile and distributed computation. A characteristic of our calculus is the presence of both probabilistic and nondeterministic aspects. This combination is essential to represent probabilistic algorithms and protocols, and express their properties in presence of unpredictable (nondeterministic) users and adversaries.
