Upwelling

Based on fuzzy clustering, we developed a new algorithm for the segmentation of upwelling regions in the southern atlantic Morrocan coast using Sea Surface temperature images. This method has the advantage of being more efficient and more accurate than a state-of-the-art method. It is followed by a work under way of determinig oriented contours using the MMF.
