Stabilization of time-delay systems

In [118] , [122] , we study the stabilization
problem of a linear system formed by a simple integrator and a
time-delay system. We show that the stabilizing controllers of such a
system can be rewritten as the closed-loop system defined by the
stabilizing controllers of the simple integrator and a distributed
delay system. This result is used to study tracking problems appearing
in the study of inertially stabilized platforms for optical imaging
systems. Moreover, an elementary proof for the parametrization
[111] of all stabilizing controllers of a stabilizable plant
