Air-helium shock-bubble interaction

A three-dimensional hyperelastic model has been developed. It can deal with multi-fluid and solids. Here we show the propagation in air of a Mach 1.22 shock through an helium bubble. The computation is performed on a 1000×400×400 mesh and lasts for 50h on 300 processors. The zero iso-value of the level set function and schlieren on the horizontal plane through the center of the bubble are presented at different times on Fig. 7 .
